More than 30 teams competed in the second-annual Summer Blast tourney for U9 to U11 teams at Lake Samammish Soccer Park in Issaquah on Aug. 18-19.
With an eye toward preparing for the fall season, the U9 to U11 teams competed fiercely under a sunny skies and very warm temperatures.
All in all, teams performed well and were able to get some competitive matches as they continue to prepare for the Fall League.

Get ready for the fall season!
Play in the Summer Blast tournament -- a place for U8 to U11 teams to compete and have fun in the sun!
Stay close to home and compete against some of the best academy and development teams in the Puget Sound region and beyond.
Issaquah Soccer Club’s Gunners, Tynecastle FC and other top competitive clubs will be among the clubs playing in the second-year event.
Where: Lake Sammamish Soccer Park, Issaquah, Wash.
When: Aug. 17-19.
Cost: $400 per team.
Final Registration Deadline: Aug. 8.
Format:
- U8 and U9 teams play 8 v 8 and U10 and U11 teams play 9 v 9.
- Teams are guaranteed three games on beautiful, manicured grass fields with modified goals and fields.
